Made in the USA, the towering 4 1/2 inch crown Bailey Western Big Bill hat is big, no doubt, even in Texas. And with a multi-tone grosgrain band with a large Bailey signature spur ornament, it is grand in its fashionable conventions. But probably the biggest thing about the Bill is its custom Molly Crabapple print lining. Molly Crapabble's decadently brilliant artwork has been described as a "limerick shared amongst good company in a Victorian parlor." Molly is famous for her very burlesque visual subject matter, and in collaborating with Bailey Western, captures the sinister side of the old west for which Bailey Western shares an aesthetic fascination. Indeed, the pairing is a successful one on this special style.
