What Color Hat is Right for You?
- Mar 3, 2017

Your hair color is a very important detail to consider when choosing the color of your hat. Read the tips below to help find the right hue for you!
Hats for Red or Auburn Hair-
Consider: BLUE HATS or PURPLE HATS. Avoid:Red or Orange
Hats for Blonde Hair-
Consider: BROWN HATS, DARK GREEN HATS, GREY HATS, or DEEP RED HATS Avoid:Yellow or Beige
Hats for Brown or Brunette Hair-
Consider: LIGHT GREEN HATS, LIGHT to MEDIUM GREY HATS, LIGHT RED HATS, or PINK HATS Avoid:Brown
Hats for Grey Hair-
Consider: GREEN HATS or GREY HATS. If you choose grey, go with a shade that contrasts with your hair color i.e. light grey hat if you have dark grey hair, and vice-versa. Avoid: Light Brown and Tan
We recommend contrasting your hat with your hair color. Selecting a hat color on the opposite side of the color wheel helps highlight the attractive natural colors of your hair. It's a good idea to mix up colors so you don't end up with outfits that are overly monochromatic. Monochromatic coloring puts you at risk of washing out or intensely darkening your look. We hope this gives you a starting point to start shopping around and experimenting with different tones to figure out what works best for you!
