Always follow the directions as specified on the bottle. Directions:
Always check for colorfastness or appearance change in hidden area prior to using
Shake can well and spray test on paper or cloth for 3-5 seconds until liquid spray is white
Spray can in upright position 8"from surface
Wait till hat is dry to the touch
Once dry, brush area using a dark hat brush until hat is cleaned
For heavily soiled hats, additional applications may be needed
